18 December 2025 – Appreciation is extended to the ten (10) members of the Occupational Safety and Health Committee (OSH) of the National Veterinary Public Health Laboratory who conducted a benchmarking visit to PPKKP UPM on 18 December 2025. The visit aimed to share best practices and to strengthen the implementation of occupational safety and health (OSH) aspects, particularly within the laboratory environment.

Throughout the visit, committee members were exposed to the safety management system, standard operating procedures (SOPs), risk management practices, as well as measures for the prevention of workplace accidents and occupational diseases implemented by PPKKP UPM. A two-way discussion session was also held to facilitate the exchange of views and experiences in enhancing the level of safety, health, and well-being of the workforce.

It is hoped that this benchmarking visit will provide valuable insights and serve as a catalyst for continuous improvement in the management of occupational safety and health at the National Veterinary Public Health Laboratory.
