SERDANG, 4 August 2026 – The Biorisk Management 2.0: Train-the-Trainers Programme was successfully conducted from 4–5 August 2026 at the OSH Hall, Office of Occupational Safety and Health Management (PPKKP), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).
The programme aimed to strengthen participants’ competencies in biorisk management, encompassing both biosafety and biosecurity, through a combination of theoretical sessions, expert knowledge sharing, and practical training. This initiative also supports efforts to foster a culture of safe work practices and ensure compliance with relevant legal requirements and laboratory management standards.
The programme featured experienced speakers from UPM who shared their expertise on various aspects of biorisk management, including risk assessment, risk control, good laboratory practices, emergency response, and biosafety compliance.
Congratulations and sincere appreciation to all the speakers, organising committee members, and participants for their commitment and active participation throughout the programme.
